LEAGUE ONE: Doncaster still in the the promotion picture

Mark McCammon and Paul Heffernan grabbed a goal apiece to help Doncaster to a 2-1 win over Port Vale which kept them in the automatic promotion places in Coca-Cola League One.

Carlisle remain a point behind Rovers after they claimed a 2-0 win over Brighton at Brunton Park with goals from Danny Graham (35) and Danny Livesey (59).

Nottingham Forest are now seven points behind the Cumbrians after they were held to a 0-0 draw at struggling Crewe.

Adebayo Akinfenwa grabbed a brace (8, 71) to give Northampton a 2-0 win over play-off hopefuls Walsall.

Tranmere slipped out of the play-off zone after they suffered a 3-1 defeat at Oldham.

Southend climbed into the play-off zone after a 2-0 win over second-bottom Luton, thanks to goals from Nick Bailey (37) and James Walker in injury-time.

Bradley Johnson (11) and Neil Kilkenny (63) gave Leeds a 2-0 victory over struggling Bournemouth to keep their play-off bid alive.

Fellow hopefuls Leyton Orient suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Huddersfield after Luke Beckett's 75th-minute winner.
