  • "I did wonder why he was transfer listed rather than having his contract terminated - couldn't see anyone coming in with an offer. Plus, he'll probably want to head back to Italy.

I think the biggest loser out of this is Jakub Jesionkowski who was got rid of when Paolo came in. It seemed like Lanzano was brought in as a "hot young prospect" much like Jakub, hence Jesionkowski had to leave to make way for him.

Difference is, Jesionkowski was supposed to be quite good from what I heard.

Ah well, that's the life of a footballer.

Just hope we get a capable back up keeper in with Scott, Jesionkowski, Lanzano, and Smith all having flown the nest."

Lanzano contract terminated

Lanzano contract terminated Lanzano contract terminated

GOALKEEPER Mattia Lanzano has had his contract with Swindon Town terminated by mutual consent.

The Italian joined Town last summer and made seven appearances for the club at the start of last season, before dropping out of favour.

Lanzano almost left the club earlier in the year before deciding to stay, and was also transfer listed at the start of this week.
