We're focussing on the positives
IT was a miserable Easter for us, losing both our games against Brighton on Saturday and Southend on Monday.
Against Brighton we started off really well and got the goal, and for 20 minutes they couldn't get anywhere near us. But then they scored and our confidence and body language seemed to go.
In the Southend game, we didn't play quite as well but still had enough chances to get something from the game.
It just shows how thin the line between the top sides and the rest of the league is.
Although the results aren't great at the moment, no-one is talking about being dragged into a relegation fight - it hasn't even been mentioned.
We prefer to focus on positives in the dressing room.
I study the table for things like goals for and against, but haven't taken too much notice of what's going on below us.
I would sooner focus on us pushing up the league again, as with our performances against Brighton and Carlisle we've got a lot to build on.
We've got to start taking our chances. We had some great chances in both games and at the moment when we give away the sort of chances we're missing, the opposition tend to take them.
But we're all pretty confident that when the goals start coming, the results will come and then we'll go on a nice run until the end of the season.
We've got to start making the performances count. Southend aside, we've played pretty well recently but have had very little to show from it.
It's important that we hit teams hard from the start - we're creating chances but just not getting the rub of the green in front of goal at the moment.
Barry Corr picked up another injury to his shoulder against Southend and I'm devastated for him.
When he had his back injury I was coming back from my knee problem and we spent a lot of time at the gym together.
I know what it's like to come back from a long-term injury and I know how hard Barry's been working to strengthen his arm and shoulder.
When he did it he ran towards us and to see it hanging the way it was, was horrible for us and for Barry.
Everyone at the club really feels for him because he's had a lot of bad luck, and now it's not just a physical pain it's a mental pain as well.
