Like every season there have been some highs and some lows but when people look back on the 2011/12 season it will be remembered for a certain man’s first year in football management.

With just one game to go until we say goodbye to the 2011-2012 season, its time to look forward to Swindon being back in League One when it kicks off again on the 18th August.

After being the stand out team in League Two overall this season, Swindon deservedly earned promotion last Saturday back to League One at the first time of asking.

After a week full of excitement and anticipation about tomorrow’s upcoming game against Plymouth Argyle, which we could see, Swindon promoted back to League One, some baffling news started to emerge from Kent on Wednesday.

This week at the County Ground it was great to see former Town young player of the year Lee Holmes return to Swindon to help the club win promotion back to League One.
